Local Pilot Taxiing for Takeoff

Lake Village Airport is a public use airport that surrounds Lake Aero Estates. The excellent sod runway is very wide and approximately one half mile long, with an additional 1000 foot overrun for safety. The runway is easy to see and is just south of the Kankakee River. Our recent addition of night lighting makes it easy to fly into Lake Aero Estates, day or night.
